IC Sophomore, Karsyn Spicer, won 2nd Place Middle Weight American Bred Cross Steer at San Antonio Stock Show this past weekend. In a class of 40+ and a breed of over 125, Karsyn advances to the live auction held on Saturday, February 22. This is an experience that many stock showers do not get to have and we are so glad that Karsyn had the opportunity "to experience the smell of burning hair" as she put it with her steer receiving the San Antonio Brand!

On Tuesday, February 11th The Three Rivers Counseling Association held its annual awards luncheon. The association is comprised of area school counselors and private practice counselors. Each year the association recognizes those nominated in our community who contribute to the counseling field or help support counselors. Our very own LeAnn Rutherford was awarded The George Pliler Multi-Level School Counselor of the Year Award for her years of dedicated service to the youth of Irion County. She continues to go above and beyond to serve students! Congratulations!
