The Hornet Band will perform for the Region 6 UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation tomorrow (March 5). We perform our concert at Ballinger High School at 11:40, with sight reading right after. There is no charge - family and friends are welcome to attend. Band students will wear their white uniforms with white shoes - remember to bring white socks! Departure during 2nd period - return to school before 8th period. Lunch at Cici's.

The Hornet Theatre Company will kick of an afternoon of performances at 1:00. Shows run back-to-back, not on the hour. Break a leg, Hornets!

Week 4 Program of Study Highlight: Education and Training
Wednesday Juniors had the opportunity to attend the inaugural Career Expo organized by Concho Valley Workforce Commission, ESC Region 15, and SAISD. Julie Schniers was the keynote speaker and spoke to students about planning for their future and challenged them to find their SPARK. Students then had the opportunity to visit booths to learn about careers, trades, and training programs from local and state organizations.
